Crimson downs Heroic Ultraxion! Realm First 25man!
'A Series of Unfortunate Events' - starring Ul-mutherfucking-traxion... and
- Sunday, first hour of attempts. 3% wipe. Everyone suprised. "Holy shit, guys, we're amazing!"
- Too excited. Deaths all over the place. Raid over. Sad faces.
- FUCK THAT! LET'S RAID MONDAY!
- Monday, first attempt. 2.5% wipe with deaths. "Zomg, zomg, zomg..."
- Too excited. Deaths all over the place. Raid over. Sad faces.
- Wednesday, clear to Ultraxion. Too excited. Deaths all over the place. Hagara dies. Raid over. Sad faces.
- Thursday, tensions high. Calls to murder kittens if dragon doesn't die.
- Second attempt. Flawless. Burn phase. 30 seconds in front of enrage timer. 800k raid dps. Everyone excited. Healer says sadly... "Guys, I think I DCd". Raid wipes. Everyone cries.
- Raid leader gives memorable battle speech. No one listens. Everyone is mad.
- Boss pulled. Big dps. Half way and looking good. DK dies. Rez'd. Hunter dies. Rez'd. Tank dies. Rez'd. No one confidant. Raid sounds suicidal. Burn phase initiated. Rogue dies. Deathknight dies. Mage dies. Raid leader cuts self. Call for back up soaker. Usual back up has defensive on CD. "Willow! Stay out and soak!" Everyone hopeful. "I can't, it won't be off CD!" Everyone despairs. Ultraxion casts hour. People stop dps and healing expecting the wipe to be triggered. Willow calls "It came off! I survived! Keep going!" People frantically start pressing their keybinds. Healers pop everything. Spchinters clench. Raid wiper starts casting. DRAGON DIES!!! NERDS SCREAM!
Lol. Easily one of our most spectacular and tense kills. Disgustingly messy and we all would have been much happier if we killed it when our healer DCd but a dead dragon is a dead dragon! Saved by a girl too... gross.
The big DPS check is out of the way. Onwards to Warmaster and the real endboss of this tier. Spine of Deathwing!

Nothing gets you madder than a sub 5% wipe during a burn phase... except three of them in a row.
Yor'sajh really wasn't much of a struggle for us here at Crimson HQ, although we did have a few comical first pulls where our healers had to battle their instincts not to heal ALL OF THE THINGS when the black debuff was up resulting in mini Hiroshima's and many calls of "Oops, my bad." /facepalm
Once we realised it might be prudent to spend some time actually hitting the boss rather than padding our meters aoeing and we started killing some black slimes, the boss fell over without too much fuss. That being said, our actual kill was pretty tense. Green+red slimes incoming, the call to burn was made and people clenched their sphincters, closed their eyes and hoped for the best.
Boom. 3/8. Onwards to Heroic Hagara!
